Good Lord no, and thank heaven for that! If I wanted to be entertained at Church I'd still be protestant. Also, thankfully, I'm Romanian Rite, so nothing I hear at Church is even a bad copy of anything that might be heard on a lite rock station. What about "liturgical terms" such as gathering space (vestibule), worship aid (hymnal or missal); worship space (sanctuary); worship (adoration); minister--worship minister, music minister, hospitality minister, you get the message (we used to call them Priest, choir director, Altar and Rosary Society, etc). In addition, we now have Vacation Bible School which helps us to fit in with our protestant friends when they all plant their "VBS" banners on the street corners near their churches. Now we do the same. This used to be called CCD. I am sure there are other terms that we don't even recognize as protestant because in the last 40 years they have become part of our Catholic milieu. I have a cover that fits my 1962 Missal perfectly, not exactly high fashion (it's maroon web-like material), but it has a nifty zippered side pocket that's a perfect place to stash my chapel veil....
